My jardini is about 4 years.... I have probably been doing the wrong thing by keeping goldfish feeders in hi tank... but that is now hindsite.
A few days ago.. I say he was looking very listless and his color is very bad.. looks grey and dull. About 50% of the time.. he is swimming at a 40% angel rather than horizontal. He looks emaciated as well. He has not eaten.. as the goldfish are still there... and they don't look healthy either.
I have added one pound of sea salt to 85 gallons of water.. and brought the temp up to 78 degrees.
I have done two daily consecutive treaments of erythromyin at the rate of 200 MG per ten gallons.. I have done this now for days in a row.. yesterday and day before. Last night added treatment of Triple Sulfa from Aquarium Pharmactuicals at reccomended rate.
I am not seeing any improvement.. but not seeing him getting any worse.. but he looks bad enough already.
I am going to go get him some crickets today and see if that will get him excited enough to eat....
Any advice is greatly appreciated.. I am attached to this fish and don't want to lose him.
Water parameters are all good...
I have attached a pic of the way he looks about 50% of the time.. the way he is swimming... he is not gulping at the surface for air.. just taking this posture.
I have also added a link to more pictures to give you a better idea of how he is looking....
Thanks in advance!!!
