Hi - well, about three years have passed and I regret lambasting Big Als for their treatment of asian aros. I understand it was all a mistake and that there were unique issues involved at the time with staff. Daniel, I hope you do not take offence over the issue. If I am not mistaken you were not the floor manager at the time.
On a related note, I now import asian arowana directly to Vancouver, Canada. I can offer RTG's for $600 Canadian, Super Reds for $1800, and Xbacks for $1800-$2200 depending on shine level. All prices include tax and shipping. Basically I am offering these fish at 33%-50% off the normal retail price. I import from a VERY reputable Singapore dealer in business since 1994. My goal is to make the asian arowana more commonly kept in the Vancouver area and to allow people without a huge budget to keep these beautiful creatures. Email me at theoinvancouver@hotmail.com.
