Aro's barbels turning white! SOS!

My aro's barbel is looking strange today. It has changed into white! But it's just the barbel on the left that has changed into white (white on the barbel's top end but the bottom half on the roots looks normal )In other words, it's half white on the top and normal on the bottom. Everything looks fine yesterday but.....just too strange. Just one of the barbels. Why? And of all colours why white? Is it a disease? Anyone here know why? I'm kinda worried right now!
BTW, it's a 7-8 inch Yellowtail.
