Hi miss susan,
You have just triggered the topic that I was discussing with my wife last night. Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong. We feel that RED lips and RED spots on the body are simply aro that born with it. It is only an added point for the sellers (LFS) to convince the buyer. An aro will not turn red immediately as the lips and spots suggested. Aro has a system of developing to its' final stage if it is red. It should first attain yellowish to golden colour, then rusty dark gold colour before the final colour of its' type, whether red or others. I feel that many aro keepers were cheated at this stage and wasted lots of time hoping. Some aros keepers were so confidence of the RED lips and spots on the body that impatience started and disappointed with anxiety. It all depend on the past reputation of the sellers. Except for the experience ones that experienced having plenty of experiences and aros can really tell the result. For example, if you give Luc a chance to view your aros physical, he can tell. If you give me the chance to see them, you might see a blank or big question mark face but will try and bullshit.
Due to the high cost, my advice is to be 99.9% sure before buying and do not buy and later, hope, wait, confuse and finally still ??????. It seems that we can only see its' real face (aro) years after buying. I feel that I am experiencing my chilli red now ie What is the colour and how he/she look like in future? Should I change now or just hope?
Have a good day su.
ML
