Hi I always change 80% water every month. I add tetra black water & PH is measure at 6.6 in my tank. My RTG look more shinning golden color. But when I change with tap water (PH at 7.3), my RTG color turn more silverish gold and it take a week to recover back. So I agree that this is true!
