It's just that whenever my arowanas look stressed after being introduced into the tank, they never last more than two weeks. That's why I'm worried when they are stressed.
: Hi Jimmy,
: Your Aro is only trying to get used to the new
: environment and new owner. It will take some
: time, so a little patient is required.: My advise is that, for a start, don't get too close
: to the tank. If you have time to spare, get a
: chair and sit in front of thank for one hour or 2
: every day, so that the Aro will get used to your
: presence.: As for lighting, there is no preference as to when
: to on or off, or how long it should be on or off.
: However, one point to note is, to always to on
: the room light first before switch on the tank
: light, and leave the room light on for a while
: before complete darkness.: Another to take note when placing aquarium tank in
: based is temperature, to keep a close watch on
: the temperature, or put a heater in and set the
: temp at 28C degrees to 29C degrees.
