Hi TPY & Luc,
I noticed the same thing with my last bottle of Tetra Blackwater. Was quite surprised since the last time I got a bottle in the beginning of the year - all I needed was about 6-8 capfuls and the tank will be visibly dark.
With the new bottle, I'd probably used 2-3 times the above amount and there was very little darkening of the water. Checked the water parameters about a week later and water pH remained almost identical. Had to use Ketapam leaves as an alternative - much cheaper too.
Perhaps the other brand from Wanhu would be a better choice right now since there's dilutation on the bigger tetra bottles.
