ML,
I've always use overflow wet/dry filter together with daily tank clean up. The OFWD filter has three parts: 1) Mechanical filter, 2) Biological filter, 3) The sum. Note: If need to, chemical filter can also be added or removed. Because OFWD filter would break the inflow water and trickle it down inside the filter, this would allow oxygenation. One thing I like most about this filter is its mechanical filter (a sponge) can easily be removed and clean everyday.
