Dear Luc and Jack,
See...Beauty is on the eye of beholder.
I think the names are different due to farmer given names, but actually they baptized them with those names in order to distinguish them from "normal super red" which allowed for the buyer/owner to play gamblings of growing them up.
I believe those Magnificent Reds are not "on purpose breeding" of individual Reds. Maybe some coincidences of the frys, make them unusual and extraordinary. Because if they can breed them "on purpose", the price would not be that high.....am I right??
The same case also was occured to Platinum Arowana. Is it "on purpose" breeding? Sorry for using the word "on purpose" so often because I don't know how to explain how rare and difficult it is to find those fishes.
I think the nominees of the most beautiful arowana are : Platinum, Royal Golden Blue, Bukit Merah Blue, Pahang Gold, Rubby Red, Blue based Red, Purple Red and the last Violet Fusion Red.
And the Oscar Goes to.......
Thanks again Luc, Jack.
Regards.
Alfred
