Hi Luc,
To tell the truth, I do not know what Coral Reef charged for that but I am sure that it will be much cheaper than the LFS's stock after my findings two months ago. Since you did mentioned of no cover tank. If you don't mind of a re-make from old glasses, you can try this place. Just for your information, my brother bought an old 4 x 2 x 2 with a steel stand at only S$120 at this place. Perhaps, he was lucky that Sunday when we visited the place and there was this old fish tank standing there. Here we go:
On the main road of Yio Chu Kang, you will have to turn left to Jln Kayu. After turning into JK, you will come to a traffic junction again. Turn left at this junction on a slight upslope two way road. After 300m, you keep your eyes on the left and at the bend of this road, the door to a fish farm. Just walk behind the first fish farm, there is another one with some guys sitting there mending fish tanks or stands and many old tanks. It was like new after their refurbishing. They charged rock bottom price. For those who want 3' and 4' and even smaller one, don't mind old but looks new, price really so cheap. Pls bargain, they will sell.
Coral Reef standard very high. Ben is a nice person and helpful. There are also some already made tanks that might cost cheaper since the client's backout the sale. I saw two 5 x 2 x 2 during the last visit.
