Black Water? pls help

Black Water? pls help

1. Does anyone know how to acquire or make blackwater in the US? Or is there some substitute? the fish store doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about.
2. What is the liquid called to put the fish to sleep? I have to move my aro in a week and he's already stressed.
3. My aro is still losing scales! probably one or two a day. I've been keeping the light off and covering tank to reduce stress, but I'm not sure what else to do.
