Luc,
I think the cause was stress. It was kept with the Ruby with the divider. As he grown bigger, the space became too constrain. The Ruby, at the same time, wasn't happy either. Ever since I moved it to a separate tank, it's no longer jumpy and eat like normal.
My Ruby is about 13". Nothing spectacular, yet . I'll take some pictures once it turn color.
