Hi Joe,
Just a suggestions.
Tetracyclin is very strong and can just kill anything(including the fish)but it is very expensive and probably better worth for treating internal infections, dropsy etc.In fact, we tried relentlessly for quite a couple of weeks(not that fast though) before the anchor worms disappeared.
Rose, just continue with what Joe has recommended and see what happens next, be warned not to overdosed and have patience;)
Seb,
Anchor worms is a parasite developed from uneaten food or live food(especially from unclean tanks, gravel etc). It can grow as long as your eyes can see, it kinda hook themselves to the fish's body especially the tail/fins and everywhere. Can see the worms protruding out.
